It houses the Givenchy brand of haute couture garments, accessories, perfumes and cosmetics. Givenchy is a member of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture et du Pret-a-Porter and was created in 1952 by designer Hubert de Givenchy.
LVMH, a luxury multinational, owns it. Hubert de Givenchy created his luxury brand in 1952 and debuted the Les Séparables collection, which included airy skirts and puffy blouses made of raw cotton. Givenchy founded Les Parfums Givenchy in 1957 and is best known for his haute couture work. Hubert de Givenchy asked Audrey Hepburn to be the face of his L'Interdit perfume in 1958, which she was only allowed to wear for a year.
