With contrasting red and yellow stitching for the seats and sportier-looking steel pedals, the Abarth treatment is continued inside. The cabin is essentially the same as that of the regular Punto 90HP in every other respect. There may not be much of a difference between the inside and the basic car, but under the hood is a 1.4-liter T-Jet turbocharged engine that was previously found in the Linea T-Jet. Fiat India has fine- tuned the engine for this hot hatch, increasing the output to 140 horsepower and 200 nm.

The style of the alloy wheels is another aspect that immediately attracts attention. The spokes actually have the appearance of Scorpion claws, adding to the car's glitter. Additionally, a sporty Abarth decal spans the side profile. At night, the performance-focused Punto appears dangerous, especially in the Hip Hop Black colour.
The interior is completely black, same like the Punto Evo 90 HP Sport model. However, this driver-oriented automobile is made even more unique by several Abarth-specific features. A stylish door sill with an Abarth logo would greet you as you entered the cabin. The stitching on the seats and gear lever is also yellow and red. The aluminium pedals with the Scorpion emblems look fantastic and have a rubber coating to prevent slipping.

The Punto is renowned for its exceptional high speed stability and quick handling. Fiat has dropped the ride height for better handling, and here is how it feels. The handling was rather hampered by the high ground clearance of the Evo. The Abarth maintains a straight line and is more eager to accelerate into curves at high speeds. Additionally, the unpleasant body roll is now much better managed, and the current configuration encourages you to push the car to its maximum as you approach a turn.
