Cars under 30 Mahindra XUV 700
The XUV700 is built on a brand-new foundation that, according
to the firm, is 80 percent stiffer than the XUV500's monocoque,
thanks to more spot welds and adhesive bonding. This new
Mahindra flagship is lighter, stronger, and more feature-packed
than any of the company's previous vehicles.
Mahindra has worked hard to reduce weight, using lightweight
high-tensile steel in the XUV700's monocoque frame and other
weight-saving techniques such as smaller engines that weigh
roughly 70kg less than the XUV500. With prices touching 30
lakhs on road, this is definitely a car that offers a lot with tons
of segment firsts and features that simply obliterate the
competition.
The XUV700 is home to two brand-new engines: the latestgeneration 2.2-litre mHawk diesel and the mStallion 2.0 turbopetrol, both of which made their debut in the Thar. The
XUV700, on the other hand, has seen a huge increase in power.
The base diesel variants have a 155hp engine, but higher
variants have a class-leading 185hp motor. The 2.0 turbopetrol, equipped with variable valve timing, direct injection,
and turbo power, provides a class-busting 200hp.
The new platform also employs the most up-to-date electrical
and electronics (E/E) design, allowing it to house an advanced
infotainment system (from Visteon) as well as a suite of
advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS) never before
seen in a car of this class or price. Mahindra is adamant about
out-teching the competition. These ADAS technologies improve
the XUV's safety as well as its convenience.
