FROM THE EDITOR 'I AM ONLY HUMAN, AFTER ALL' F.R.I.E.N.D.S, the pilot based on the life of the producers Marta Kauffman and David Crane revolving around 6 friends in Manhattan in 1994, ran for 10 years and shaped a generation. Still fetching over a billion dollars annually after 25 years, it brought a certain sense of relativity to the audience. Rich, poor, independent, dependent, spoilt, hard working, chef, musician, doctor, palaeontologist, actor, fashion designer, masseuse, scientist, data analyst or a waitress, the show took the audience through everything, relating to someone, somewhere at every point in time. More than that, it gave hope, to those it related with for a better tomorrow. Teenagers, with their teenage problems needed nothing better than knowing where they would end up, all wrapped up in continuous light comedy.
